I friend practicing Kendo send me this because he wanted me to better understand this samurai sport (Kendo being the samurai training styles and the samurai fight transformed into a sport about a hundred years ago). I don't fully understand it but Kendo seems a little more interesting than other sports even many martial arts involve too much shouting - this seems to be the kiai.
Kendo does not have a real application because the swords are illegal at least in my country and probably many other countries, but as I have been said this martial arts will increase your discipline, attention and reactions if you practice it and everybody wins.
