What is Gravity?

Not a force, but the space curvature. What goes up it usually goes down again, not because it's not the moving in a straight line, nor that the planet is moving, it's because the planet is curving the space around it. That's the side effect of the mass, and some people are saying that movement is also curving the space - the relativity theory is explaining that effects.

Anyway, take care when you fly to your destination (taking a plane, a helicopter or a flying car) - you will need to return to the ground one point or another, one moment or another, so return safely.

Nobody says aliens from another planets does not exists, they only need to be proved they exists. You see an alien or an alien ship? Photo him/her/it/whatever. Record the landing and the "Take me to your leader" alien request. Post the photo and video online, an all internet. Take some DNA samples if you can in order to be analyzed by specialized people and authorities.

Bruce Lee: "Your Greatest Enemy Is Within"

I don't know if the speech from the video belongs to Bruce Lee or not, but you should listen it - it's a very good speech. Practicing martial arts for a long time (almost 25 years) I can confirm that the greatest enemy is within. You can train hard and harder each day and you will be able to do a lot of thing when the martial arts are involved, but the greatest enemy remains the one within you - it's one of the first enemies you need to obliterate if you want to win. The rest is just details, and for the moment just watch or at least listen the video and win. Just win against that enemy.

Scientists may need to use nuclear weapons to defend earth from asteroid

I can't say that I am surprised to watch that. There was a movie with Bruce Willis on an asteroid that it was closing dangerously to Earth and he went there to blow it up. Armageddon was it's name and finally Bruce avoid that - it was just another movie and people need to feel good about is ending. And, for the moment, Sky News has to report that a large piece of rock named 2024 YR4 could cause "severe damage" if it hits a major town or city like New York or Washington DC.

Scientists are warning that the large asteroid could collide with the earth on 22 December 2032, and the current odds of a serious strike are 1/67. It's not much for a normal human but in astronomy terms, that is significant

Astronomer David Whitehouse told Sky News that authorities may need to take measures to deflect the rock if it looks like a collision is likely, and using nuclear weapons may be an idea. Not a good one, but an idea.

Shroud of Turin studies

The Shroud of Turin, also known as Sindone di Torino (Italian) an as the Holy Shroud, is a length of linen cloth that bears a faint image of the front and back of a naked man. Many Christians considered the image from the Shroud as being Jesus Christ's, the piece being  for them as Jesus's actual burial shroud upon which his image was miraculously imprinted. Because at least details of the image are consistent with traditional depictions of Jesus of Nazareth after his death by crucifixion, the shroud has been venerated for centuries, especially by members of the Catholic Church.

DIY sand heater

The idea is great, I will try it these days. Still being winter, with or without climate change, the heated sand will help get some more money so I will probably return with my experienced point of view about it. I won't film it because I love writing not filming, so don't expect a Youtube video about what I will do at home. Especially considering I don't have much experience with this kind of activity.

You should listen the Evanescence song when searching your love, it may help you find your existing lover and a new lover, or at least and for the moment it can make your day better while you are dreaming of a loved life.

Does time exist?

Some people I know are saying that no, time does not exists, and we are just remembering events just because this is our biology. You may contradict them, feel free to do that, but for the moment you can watch the lesson done by Andrew Zimmerman Jones and directed by Nice Shoes in order to make a better arguement.

Doar cei care au trăit multă vreme cu animale de casă care dau lapte (vacile, de exemplu) au păstrat activă o enzimă - europenii sînt cei mai mulți care au mutația respectivă. He is affiliated with esteemed research centers and serves in key roles such as an Area Chair for Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) and an Editor for the International Journal on Robotics Research (IJRR). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
